Lwis
Before Guillén Paz, Luis was the creative director for a Honduras based fashion house called Lwis. It focused on sustainability and the artisanal craft of Latin American creatives. The brand utilized natural dying processes, rope-work, and textiles that are rooted in traditions much older than Lwis and are still largely absent, to this day, in the fashion industry. Below are selected collections from Lwis.
Utila 2020
This is a collection that celebrates Útila, the smallest of Honduras' major Bay Islands, a place known for its dive sites and biodiversity, boasting animals like the endemic iguanas (locally known as the wish willies), whale sharks, and dolphins.
